Finger-biting contest
Lanka won; firstly, I would like to present my middle finger to Arun Lal and the other South-Asian commentator. They wrote Lanka off at the end of the first innings; and after Mahroof got us two wickets, and Ganguly and Tendulkar in full flow, they were "sort of" vindicated but their comments showed how little they understood about the game. Seriously pathetic.
Anyways, we applied our chokehold game with the spinners; and credit to Mahroof and the Slinger-Malinga. Dhoni was out first-ball off a perfect in-swinging yorker but it was a no-ball! Eventually, he played well for his 49 - till he was at the crease India was only one shot away.
In the end, some splendid ground-fielding and I think some amazing captaincy too.
And thank you, Sangakkara - he was the difference and played a chanceless innings!
And also a special note to Arun Lal - we made India bat 50 overs, did not get them all-out and still won =)
