Happy B'day to Peishan! (I gotta log this date somehow)
I have also started an excel sheet - hope that I have enough friends and family to cover the 365 days - preferably friends since family would kinda be weird - considering I am the lowest in the family tree I might be burdened with excessive reprodcutive pressure.
Anyways, as always, I seemed to have done a lot and nothing at the same. Unlike Madonna saying that time goes by so slowly - I have no such complaints. Father time in Singapore just races along - my month long holiday in SL was so slow - but here so quick that I have already been here 6 weeks and nothing.
Got a start on my thesis - but lots more to be done. I hope to get at least a B+ for it.
Well, its been a hell of a week. I think my "message of the week" would be that I should hold on to my friends and not open my big mouth and hurt them. I know I think I am joking but I tend to take it far. I would like to keep reminding myself about this because I have this innate ability to say something stupid. And also, I manage to SMS the wrong person - all the freaking time. Talk about foot-in-the-mouth.
Apart from that, my other modules are good. I have got a fun group for my term paper in 4202 - Meera, Nitasya, Kamariah, Huyen and I. It was fun doing the hollywood with the extended group consisting of Brandon, Charissa and Chris. Feeling nostalgic about how far these school days will be if I get a good job.
On that note, I am applying again. Whee. Hearing stories about others getting good breaks - the feelings are somewhere between anger, jealousy and heart-break. Yep! Everyone keeps telling me that it will come - I have faith. But till it does, I am going to digress.
On cricket front - whoohoo! Without the a bad omen from Meera (where we managed to crash from 137 for 1 to 222 all out), we upstaged Australia in the first final - in a best of three. They are being whooped - and they don't how big a can of whoopass Lanka has just opened.
Also, got into Open House. I have a dilemma - two offers. Waiting to see which is more lucrative - IRO pays me $ 120 and CNM may pay $ 8 per hour. Gotta wait and see!
Also, you have to watch this - it is the most ridiculously funny video -
Black Bush.
I have seemed to have garnered quite a fan club thanks to the rat problem. The latest is that - well he is MIA. All my stuff is safe. Thank you. However, I am still waiting on the compensation from the greedy EA office - and I say greedy because they would GIRO deduct a $ 20 for a simple lock-out before you could say "Halleujah" but take ages and a million questions when they could not sort out a rodent problem.
It was also a religious week and lots of mosque going - it was fun - the only place that I really feel like I am at home is at mosque. Simply because the whole ambience of the mosque is so like the mosque people in Sri Lanka - but as soon as I am on that 197 from City Hall, father time, takes over again!
Another fantastic thing was the get-together at Madhu's for her birthday thingy. Walao! Good fun le. We played pictionary with her super-on (and bending on cukcoo) friends - Jalpa and Deepthi (sp?). And she had some of her other friends over and we played a loud and animated session of Pictionary at her home - then we left to a restaurant in City Hall for dinner - I will have to check the name from Madhu. The dinner got better because I met Seema dearest! Hehe! She is still chirpy as ever - she can talk at the speed of light I tell you. If we ever needed to get to Mars in a hurry, she would be the fuel. It was a fantastic day!
What else? I really can't recall anything more - I think there is a lot more that hapenned but this is all I can remember.
Hehe! I need a new template for my blog and need to make it more snazzy.
